Journal Launch Services
With a team of expert publishers on board, we are able to support you with the launch of your first journal.
Journal Launch: Case Study
PA EDitorial Ltd was approached by The Delirium Society (a society where members regularly submit and publish manuscripts to various medical journals), which didn’t have the option to submit their manuscripts to a journal specifically dedicated to Delirium.
They wanted to establish a pair of journals – one selective, one inclusive – to respectively increase the quality and quantity of knowledge in the field. The journals aimed to be continuously published online, with open access but modest APCs. Their ambition was to pass savings to authors and lower barriers to publication.
The Delirium Society recruited 30 of its members to join their editorial board, who would be able to represent the diversity of the professional backgrounds and practice settings.
Our team guided and assisted them throughout the journal launch process, taking them every step of the way to their launch date.
🎉 We have assisted publishers before with launching #newjournals, but this is PA EDitorial’s first launch of a journal without a publisher to manage everything outside of the #peerreview process.

Reporting Services
Reporting, spreadsheets and data are necessary, essential and significantly help publishers and editorial boards understand what is happening with their journals.
However, here at PA EDitorial, we know that undertaking such processes isn’t for everyone. So, to support our clients further, we introduced a dedicated reporting specialist to our team.
Our team have all the essential skills and training to create reports for our clients, especially those with other journal priorities, but it is PA Editorial’s Reporting Manager who has created hundreds of straightforward and accessible reports for our journals, whether they be annual or quarterly status reports, ad hoc reports for special issues, submission information or editor assessments and bespoke reports tailored to the needs of our clients.
