Journal Launch
Journal Launch Services
Case Study
PA EDitorial Ltd was approached by The Delirium Society (a society where members regularly submit and publish manuscripts to various medical journals), which didn’t have the option to submit their manuscripts to a journal specifically dedicated to Delirium.
They wanted to establish a pair of journals – one selective, one inclusive – to respectively increase the quality and quantity of knowledge in the field. The journals aimed to be continuously published online, with open access but modest APCs. Their ambition was to pass savings to authors and lower barriers to publication.
The Delirium Society recruited 30 of its members to join their editorial board, who would be able to represent the diversity of the professional backgrounds and practice settings.
Our team guided and assisted them throughout the journal launch process, taking them every step of the way to their launch date.
🎉 We have assisted publishers before with launching #newjournals, but this is PA EDitorial’s first launch of a journal without a publisher to manage everything outside of the #peerreview process.
